What You Will Be Doing:
You will be the F‑35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) Systems Engineer – Level 2 and will be an essential part of identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance‑plan changes that increase organizational maintenance capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life‑cycle cost.

Basic Qualifications:- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent industry/technical experience—e.g., private or military aviation experience focusing on core maintenance, sustainment, and engineering concepts.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Skills:
- Previous F‑35 program experience.
- Low‑Observable, Structures and Crew‑escape maintenance concept experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems‑engineering framework.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:Secret
Work Schedule:4‑day 10‑hour shifts, three days off per week. Part‑time remote telework is included; the specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
