This program requires US Citizenship
Responsible for performing stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure, as well as updating existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Experience with MRB stress analysis of metallic and composite structure. Required experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Experience using SLIM as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired. Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired.
Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems desired. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.
Required Minimum skills:
Airframe primary structure layout and sizing
Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures
Catia V5
Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT and 3DX a plus
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range: $70/hr-$120/hr
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
