Staff Engineer, Civil Engineering

Verdantas is seeking a Civil Engineer with a geotechnical focus in Fort Worth, Texas to support field-intensive projects through data collection, site inspections, and technical design.

• Prepare or assist in preparing health and safety plans, including client‑specific requirements and documentation such as forms and job safety analysis (JSAs).
• Collect and interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods.
• Assist in preparing detailed plans and technical specifications.
• Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation.
• Perform other engineering‑related tasks for projects (e.g., designs, drawings, site inspections) under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Travel approximately 90% of the time.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred).
• 0–2 years of consulting geotechnical engineering experience.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with the desire to learn quickly and succeed professionally.
• E.I.T. strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $65,000 per year.
