F-35 Manufacturing Engineer for Finishes Team on 2nd shift. Primary responsibilities include direct shop floor support, maintaining manufacturing plans, process standards, tooling requirements, engineering change implementation, and process improvements.
- Determine root cause of non-conformances, implement Corrective Action
- Investigate tooling issues, assessing and providing tooling corrective action
- Initiate tooling rework activities
- Provide technical support to the Production team.
- Provide technical assistance to leadership, supervision and painters to ensure all product is processed in compliance with Finishes requirements
- Provide work around plan development as required and support improvement initiatives.
Some weekend and overtime support required in this position.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or production operations experience
- Experience reading engineering blueprints.
- Experience with technical support, build teams, &/or internal/external customers.
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience
Desired
Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of LM Aero F-35 Systems (CATIA, PDM, VAS, QADS, SFM, CAPP, ICA), Lean Principles, Continuous Improvement.
- Project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Possess working knowledge of LM-FW tooling
- Prior experience of Fighter aircraft (5th Generation) Low Observable coatings and related manufacturing processes desirable.
- Possess strong problem solving skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
