Bell, a leader in aerospace and US defense industry has an opening for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our Manufacturing R&D team in Fort Worth, TX to support new and existing Industry 4.0. manufacturing transformations.

A Day in the Life of an Industrial Engineer in a Manufacturing Research & Development environment:

You will play a key role in enabling the development of new manufacturing processes at the Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC) by supporting R&D projects and assisting in the production of quality products, safely, on time, and on budget for new programs. This position will ensure that we identify, and implement, the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measures) needed to meet these objectives.

Additionally, this position will maintain the MTC's Delmia 3DExperience model and simulation and assist in the implementation of Industry 4.0-based concepts and digital transformation in a manufacturing environment.

This highly collaborative position will partner with operations, programs, facilities, Manufacturing Innovation engineers, leadership, and outside visitors.

Position Responsibilities:

• Man, Machine, and Tool capacity assessments
• Facility and Equipment planning
• Capital planning & Business Case Development
• Standards | Span | Planning Work-Flow | Planning Work Structure
• Metric and Target Development & Forecasting
• Updating MTC's Delmia 3D Model & Simulation
• EH&S:
  Near Misses, JHA, Ergonomics assessments
• Project Management
• Visual and Digital Factory
• Kinaxis Rapid Response Maintenance & Analysis
• S&OP and SIOP Supply Analysis & COE Coordination
• Collaborate with Factory Design team on mfg. process and data maintenance

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in Systems, Computer, Industrial or Manufacturing

Position Skills Requirements:

• At least 5 years pertinent Industrial Engineering, Operations Systems Design &/or Systems Engineering experience.
• Strong analytical skills
• Willingness to learn 3D modeling and simulation
• Proficiency in Auto Cad (or similar tool)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
• Strong understanding of OSHA and other regulatory requirements affecting manufacturing plant layouts
• Microsoft Office Suite Proficient including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
