This role is for the Manufacturing Engineering leader over the systems build-up of the wing (J400) and the structural closeout and delivery of the full wing to EMAS.
- Leadership responsibility for a team of 20 Manufacturing Engineers that own the manufacturing plan for two build teams and support corrective action, process improvement, engineering integration, and constraint resolution for their builds.
- Work directly with the production build team leaders to proactively support the build schedule and will coordinate with the counterparts in planning, test engineering, quality, engineering, MRB, production control, and Mantech to enable our goals.
- Responsible for developing the strategy, creating and communicating goals, motivating and evaluating performance, hiring, development, and sustaining the team.
- Ensure proactive communication on our major projects/issues and timely corrective action from the ME team.
This position is a great opportunity for leadership growth in a high paced demanding environment.
Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience Leading
- Knowledge of F-35 production line practices and requirements &/or similar production program experience
- Working knowledge of aircraft tooling and assembly processes, Root Cause analysis, Corrective Action, &/or Project Management
Desired
Skills:
- BS &/or MS in a technical field from an accredited institution &/or equivalent experience
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical problems
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Experience developing and presenting program management level briefings
- CAM, and EVMS familiarity
- Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership behavior
- F-35 Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience working in QADS, SFM, SAP, CAPP, PDM, and ICA
- Experience supporting production on non-standard repair work
