Advisor, Operations Quality
The Quality Advisor provides the generation of quality standards, technical consultation. Lead the team to solve the technical and process issues.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop and maintain quality system procedures, and workmanship standards.
- Define the protocol on process and product to solve the problem (FMEA(Failure Mode and Effects Analysis),8D,CCB(Change Control Board),ISO etc.)
- Provide the trainings, guidance and decision making for the team
- Explore advance technology & methodology to strengthen process and product quality control
- Lead the task force teams to overcome the challenge from product, material and process
- Provide the quality engineering service to satisfy the customer.
Knowledge/Skills/
Competencies:
- In depth knowledge of ISO and IPC standards and processes
- Knowledge of software and its use in generating reports capturing and presenting data in an understandable format
- In depth knowledge of product and manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the business unit and how decisions impact customer satisfaction product quality, on-time delivery and profitability of the unit
- Strong knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Six sigma and Lean Kaizen.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Physical Demands:
- Sitting/standing, free to move around
- Walking
- Sustained visual concentration on small areas, such as monitors, screens
The job works in generally good conditions with occasional exposure (10% - 33%) to noise, odours, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc. Occasional overnight travel is required.
