Operations Engineer - Level 5 | Lockheed Martin

The F-35 International Operations Engineer will be an expatriate assignment in Cameri, Italy, specifically providing technical assistance to Leonardo F-35 production. This role will report directly to the Cameri site director and assist with implementation of strategic initiatives, daily/weekly/monthly reporting, and co-leading daily meetings to address production constraints. Partners with management and aids in the development of the team strategy for the Italy Technical Assistance Team (TAT), helping to identify opportunities to further improve Leonardo performance.

Capable of analyzing the sequence of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plant production facilities, administrative processes, facility and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, engineering time studies, and process cycle times. Based on these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for process and facility modifications and revisions to operating procedures and technical systems.

May assist facilities engineers in the planning, design, modification and layout of facilities and equipment. Support inventory management and material flow to minimize production delays.
