Your Impact You will be the Operations Engineer Senior Staff (Level
5) for the Operations Engineering team which is responsible for advancing producibility, quality, and continuous-improvement across LM Aero. What You Will Be Doing As the Operations Engineer Senior Staff (Level
5) you will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects that define, mine, and improve critical processes, coordinating schedules, guiding project teams, and delivering concise status briefings to leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead cross-functional projects focused on process definition, mining, and improvement.
• Generate and coordinate project schedules with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Guide project teams to identify solutions, implement changes, and drive initiatives to closure.
• Brief project status and results to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coach and facilitate continuous-improvement events, applying Lean Six Sigma principles to sustain change. Basic Qualifications:

• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives through the full project planning and execution lifecycle
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA)
• Experience applying lean principles to manufacturing operations with demonstrated performance improvement
• Experience leading cross-functional collaborative efforts
• Experience presenting and designing strategical plans to upper leadership Desired

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
