Job Description
You will be the Electrical Engineer Sr for the Simulation and System Labs (SSL) team, responsible for designing and delivering advanced simulation hardware lab environments.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Electrical Engineer Sr you will be responsible for leading the electrical design effort that enables realistic simulation and hardware‑in‑the‑loop lab capabilities.
- Develop and document wiring schematics, 2D drawings, parts lists, and configuration control for lab equipment.
- Perform systems requirements, estimation, and EVMS status coordination to meet cost and schedule targets.
- Coordinate procurement, vendor engagement, and fabrication liaison for power distribution and avionics interfaces.
- Oversee hardware checkout, troubleshooting, and integration of Man‑In‑The‑Loop and Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop systems.
- Provide Earned Value Management inputs and collaborate across hardware, systems, and operations teams.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering.
- Experience in electrical hardware design and interpretation/development of Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, and/or Bill of Materials.
- Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, and/or Capital Logic, CM Tools such as PDM and/or CAD Datanet or equivalent;
Parts Purchasing systems such as SAP NPRs, P‑Card, EMAS or equivalent. - Electrical Design/Troubleshooting experience with Electrical, Fiber Optic, and Audio/Visual equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with various hardware equipment vendors/suppliers.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Location:
Fort Worth, TX.
Work is onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
