Operations Engineer ; Level 4

Basic Qualifications

• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives through the full project planning and execution lifecycle
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA)
• Experience applying lean principles to manufacturing operations with demonstrated performance improvement
• Experience leading cross-functional collaborative efforts

You will be the Operations Engineer Staff (Level 4) for the Operations Engineering team which is responsible for advancing producibility, quality, and continuous‑improvement across LM Aero.

• Lead cross‑functional projects focused on process definition, mining, and improvement.
• Generate and coordinate project schedules with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Guide project teams to identify solutions, implement changes, and drive initiatives to closure.
• Brief project status and results to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coach and facilitate continuous‑improvement events, applying Lean Six Sigma principles to sustain change.

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Simulation Experience
• Project Management

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
