Position: Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer- Level 2

* Description:

*
* You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects  E3  Engineer  Level 2 for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects  E3  team which is responsible for ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and performance of advanced aeronautic systems

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects  E3  Engineer  Level 2 you will be responsible for leading requirements development, integration, and verification testing of electromagnetic systems across flight‑test platforms

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Develop, track, and verify system requirements tied to electromagnetic compatibility  EMC  and E3 performance

+ Plan and execute platform‑level EMC testing, including test procedure design and flight‑test modification oversight

+ Perform RF and antenna analysis, COSITE assessments, and radome performance evaluations

+ Coordinate electromagnetic radiation hazard  EMRADHAZ  mitigation and support wiring, cabling, and power‑system integration

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* STEM degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or Physics

** Desired

Skills:

*
* Experience/Knowledge in electrical circuit analysis, electromagnetic interference  EMI

Coursework/understanding/project/work experience with electromagnetic interference  EMI  and electromagnetic wave theory  Maxwell's Laws

Coursework/understanding/project/work experience with electrical grounding concepts for circuits designs and antennas

Familiar/Experience with standard test equipment, i e  Spectrum Analyzer, volt/ohm meter, oscilloscope, Network Analyzer

Basic understanding of RF propagation and principles is desired

Demonstrated experience using standard office software tools/solutions   e g  Microsoft Office  Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project

** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

** Secret
