Who You AreIn this role you will serve as a Procurement Engineer on the Global Supply Chain Engineering Team.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Global Supply Chain Procurement Engineer, you will possess advanced communication and negotiation skills, interfacing constantly with different functions and suppliers with varying priorities. You will work with Global Supply Chain teams, Program and Subcontract Program Managers, Technical Subcontract Managers, Supplier Quality, Design Engineering and others to identify supply‑chain disruptions and mitigate issues. You will engage customers and suppliers to resolve emerging and complex technical issues affecting component delivery and shortages.
You will perform root‑cause corrective action, supplier evaluations, and technical evaluations, serving as the technical liaison between buyers, IPTs and suppliers.
This role supports complex aircraft avionics and mission systems and works with product lines such as F‑35, AMMM, IFG and ADP. Travel of approximately 20% will be required, including potential international travel.
Additional Qualifications and Responsibilities- STEM degree from an accredited university
- Experience with aircraft avionics and mission systems
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions with suppliers, internal teams, and customers
- Experience working closely with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure all procured materials meet quality and performance standards
- Experience leading Root Cause Corrective Action investigations to solve problems (RCCA)
- Mentor or lead peers and/or team members
- Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders, including program, company, subcontractors, and customers
This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be US citizens. Clearance level:
Secret.

Work SchedulesLockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules, including a 4×10 hour day with 3 days off per week. Standard schedules are 40 hours over a five‑day week, with condensed schedules available. All schedules include paid time off benefits.
