As a Manufacturing Engineer in Skunk Works, you will play a critical role as liaison between our design engineering teams and the elite women and men responsible for building tomorrow's future in an advanced manufacturing and technology facility.
Key duties for this position include:
* Leverage model-based engineering tools (PLM/MES) to facilitate creation of Production Planning/Work Instructions for build
* Interface with shop floor personnel to help resolve build issues, including troubleshooting PLM/MES/ERP data flows, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
* Provide guidance to team of hourly/represented planners and oversee creation and release of build documentation
* Provide guidance and oversee all planning modifications related to engineering revisions and MRB activities.
* Support Manufacturing Engineering planning system upgrades, modifications and new system integration
* Work in parallel with design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain organizations, and production operations
This role may require infrequent travel, extended hours, and possible weekend/off-hour support.
The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications:
* Manufacturing Engineering and/or Production Engineering experience
* 3DX Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software experience (Dassault Systèmes)
* Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
* Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired
Skills:
* Manufacturing Engineering experience in a model-based engineering environment
* Manufacturing Engineering/Production planning experience
* SAP/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience
* Production/build execution support experience
* Experience working directly with shop floor mechanics and/or represented workforce
* Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Production Control, Supply Chain)
* Experience with model-based software vendors
* Quality and Root Cause and Corrective Action experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
