Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Description
You will be the Systems Engineer Sr for the Integration and Test team within Simulation System Test (SST) which is responsible for system integration and verification/validation of software‑intensive systems.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Systems Engineer Sr you will be responsible for defining verification methods and associated System Integration Lab (SIL) capabilities, creating, maintaining, and executing verification procedures, and reporting test results including status, formal reports, and problem reports.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Apply system engineering techniques to impact the direction of products to design, develop, test, and support Shared Simulation Software products for multiple programs.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
- Experience integrating and testing hardware and/or software
- Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) System integration lab.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile team environment
- Experience with tracking tools (JIRA, Git Lab, Git Hub, etc)
- Eggplant, Cucumber or other system test automation tooling
- Experience with Omniview and Mission Planning conops
- Ability to develop and communicate long term hardware integration strategies
- Experience developing BOEs to support proposals
- Technical leadership experience of small teams
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
- Security+ Certification
- TS/SCI Clearance will be required for this role (Secret to start with Investigation in last 6 years)
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
LocationThis position can be based in Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA.
Pay RateAnnual base salary range: $89,300 - $157,550 (values may vary based on location and experience).
