Civil Project Engineer – Land Development

Location: West Fort Worth, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

A growing engineering team is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support the design and development of residential communities throughout North Texas.

This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants to focus on hands-on land development design while working in a collaborative, family-oriented environment. Unlike traditional consulting roles, this position allows you to focus on engineering and see your projects move from design through development.

The ideal candidate will have experience with residential land development, strong Civil 3D skills, and a desire to continue growing toward project leadership and professional licensure.

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Work with project manager on establishing preliminary design intent, schedule, and necessary deliverables
  • Directs EITs on advancing design to final
  • Responsible for drainage calculations
  • Responsible for grading
  • Responsible for sizing utilities and storm drain
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3-8 years of professional civil engineering experience.
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Experience in land development and residential projects preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional presence with the ability to collaborate and take ownership of projects.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
