Purchasing Systems Coordinator
At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Purchasing Systems Coordinator based in Fort Worth, Texas! The Purchase Systems Coordinator is responsible for managing activities throughout the Procure to Pay Process. Specifically, this role owns the creation, management and reporting of Purchase Orders through SAP and related tools.
They will work cross-functionally to maintain the integrity of the Purchasing Process and will act as a process expert for the systems and tools used in the Purchasing Process. In addition, they will also run daily reporting for the plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
This role ensures data accuracy, system effectiveness, compliance with company policies, and a positive user experience while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency. The following responsibilities represent the core functions of the position.
- Manage Purchase Order lifecycle activities. This includes:
- Processing Purchase Order requests
- Confirm pricing/payment terms
- Ensure compliant release strategy
- Receive Vendor Confirmations
- Delivery Confirmation/Goods Receipt
- Purchase Order Updates/Closure
- Ad Hoc Reporting
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure Vendors are paid timely and accurately
- Meet and coordinate with budget owners and Finance stakeholders to ensure budgets and accruals are systemically represented
- Request and manage new vendor setups
- Act as subject matter expert for PO Creation in SAP
- Interact with administrative teams all the way to top level management within Danone North America & Europe
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations.
- Work schedules could include nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide the ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as business needs dictate.
Engagement in our Integrated Work Systems:
Ensure adherence to plant standards and procedures (including but not limited to GMP, AIB, FDA, IWS, Quality, Safety, Finance, ISO, HOPE, Danone Behaviors, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE). As a fundamental piece of the organization, your responsibility is to participate and own the implementation and deployment of IWS system and its pillars (Leadership foundation, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE;

The salary range for this position is $70k-87k USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
