Position Overview:
Develop, optimize, and maintain SMT manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and production performance while supporting NPI and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SMT process standards.
- Support NPI, stencil design, solder paste selection, and equipment programming.
- Troubleshoot SMT defects and perform root cause analysis.
- Improve yield, scrap, cycle time, and equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Design Engineering teams.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Experience with SMT and electronics manufacturing.
- NPI experience.
- Reflow.
- AOI/AXI.
- Process optimization.
- RCA.
- DOE.
- SPC.
- Lean/Six Sigma.
- FMEA.
- IPC standards.
