Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to optimize production of premium aircraft seats at our Fort Worth facility. This role drives process design, layout, and continuous improvement for machining, assembly, and testing operations. You will develop work instructions, implement lean and Six Sigma methods, and support new product industrialization. Partner with design engineering, quality, and operations to improve throughput, safety, and ergonomics while meeting strict aerospace standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong manufacturing process knowledge, data-driven problem solving, and experience in high-mix, precision production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft seat components and assemblies
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Lead continuous improvement, lean, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve quality, cost, and throughput
  • Support new product introduction and industrialization into production lines
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design engineering, quality, and operations on manufacturability and process capability
  • Design and refine plant layout, tooling, and fixtures to improve efficiency and ergonomics
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace, safety, and regulatory standards in all processes
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to shop floor teams
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance safety, 5
  • S, and overall equipment effectiveness
