Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc., a leader in premium aircraft seating, is seeking a Project Engineer II for its Fort Worth, TX facility. In this role, you will drive engineering projects from concept through production, focusing on innovative economy and business class seat solutions. You will develop 3D models and drawings, support testing and certification activities, and collaborate closely with global design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Working in a culture of innovation, precision, and continuous improvement, you will help enhance passenger comfort, improve manufacturability, and support ongoing product and process improvements in a modern aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support aircraft seat engineering projects from concept through production in a manufacturing environment
  • Develop and refine 3
  • D models, drawings, and specifications to meet technical, regulatory, and customer requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams in design, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure manufacturability and on-time delivery
  • Perform tolerance stack-ups, basic structural calculations, and participate in testing and validation activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, cost, and production efficiency
  • Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and customers
  • Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for product and process issues
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, safety requirements, and company procedures
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to standardize designs and share best practices
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and customer support teams during build, installation, and in-service phases
