Industrial Engineer II

Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. seeks an Industrial Engineer II to optimize production of premium aircraft seating at our Fort Worth, TX facility. In this role, you will analyze manufacturing processes, develop standard work, design efficient layouts, and lead continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools. You will collect and interpret production data, conduct time studies, and implement cost, quality, and safety improvements.

Working cross functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams, you will support new product introductions, capacity planning, and sustainment of high-precision aerospace manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for aircraft seating production
• Conduct time studies and develop labor standards and standard work
• Design and optimize production line layouts and material flow
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and cost
• Support new product introductions and process validation in manufacturing
• Monitor KPIs and production data to drive quality, safety, and efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality on process changes
• Develop work instructions and train production staff on new methods
• Participate in capacity planning and resource utilization analysis
• Ensure compliance with aerospace and company quality standards
