Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer

Overview

ENERCON's Chief Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer for the Kennesaw, GA (suburb of Atlanta), Fort Worth, TX, or Naperville, IL office locations. The role leads innovative mechanical engineering projects, mentors emerging talent, and collaborates across diverse teams.

Principal Engineers with 10+ years of experience may work remotely.

• Engineering Product Development & Review:
  Prepare and support mechanical engineering products, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentorship & Technical Growth:
  Provide training and guidance to develop expertise in key mechanical engineering areas such as fluid mechanics, HVAC, and heat exchangers.
• Expert Review & Quality Assurance:
  Conduct subject‑matter expert reviews to ensure engineering product excellence.
• Collaboration & Teamwork:
  Partner with diverse engineering groups to deliver customer‑focused projects and drive business growth.
• On‑Site Problem Solving:
  Participate in site walkdowns to identify practical, cost‑effective design solutions.
• Cross‑Disciplinary Innovation:
  Collaborate across multi‑disciplined teams to tackle complex projects and deliver forward‑thinking solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
• Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVAC.
• Experience with mechanical evaluations and permitting in support of Sections 316(a) and 316(b) of the Clean Water Act (preferred).
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; travel durations typically range from 1–5 days.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

USD $90,000.00 – USD $ per year.
