We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer I (PE) to join our team in Fort Worth, TX
. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who enjoys hands-on engineering design, project coordination, and working on a variety of civil infrastructure projects.

The Civil Engineer I (PE) will perform independent engineering design, analysis, and project coordination under general supervision. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead small-to-moderate projects or key components of larger projects while ensuring designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Key areas include:

  • Grading and drainage
  • Stormwater and hydraulic design
  • Utilities
  • Paving and roadway design
  • Lead and perform civil engineering design and analysis for assigned projects.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, layouts, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Review and coordinate engineering deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
  • Sign and seal engineering documents as required.
  • Coordinate with survey teams to incorporate field data into project designs.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and applicable design/modeling software.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support permitting activities and construction-related coordination.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and problem resolution.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
, or ability to obtain one through reciprocity/comity.

4-8 years of progressive civil engineering experience following graduation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater/hydraulic modeling software.

Strong knowledge of AASHTO, MUTCD, Texas and local codes, TDLR/ADA requirements
, and permitting processes.

Understanding of civil construction practices and project requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative,
on-site environment
