Junior Process Engineer

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Process Engineer to support their operations in George . This role provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in optimizing chemical production processes. You will work closely with senior engineers, learning to analyze process data, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our client's manufacturing operations.

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing chemical process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in process hazard analysis (PHA) activities and document findings.
• Conduct basic process simulations and support R&D in scaling up new processes.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, including P&IDs and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

• B.Sc. or
  
  B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 0-3 years of relevant internship or work experience in a chemical processing environment.
• Familiarity with process simulation software and data analysis techniques is a plus.
• Good understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
