Job Requirements- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Process orders both over the phone and in person.
Orientation and training are provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers.
- Perform accurate mental math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Provide correct monetary change.
- Good verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
- Right‑hand/eye coordination for rapid and precise movements.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash or outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to above 90°F.
- Sudden temperature changes in work area and outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces and tools from oven up to 500°F.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Can differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, make judgments, and decisions.
Physical Requirements- Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. - Walking:
For short distances and durations on ceramic tile and linoleum surfaces. - Sitting:
Paperwork performed at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk deliveries up to 50 pounds, 3' x 1.5' cases, stacked up to 72". - Carrying:
Large cans, pizza sauce, dough trays (12 lbs each). - Pushing/Pulling:
Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 pounds of force. - Climbing:
Infrequent stairs or ladder use for maintenance. - Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at waist for 30‑45 seconds, repeated. - Crouching/Squatting:
Occasionally for stocking or cleaning low areas. - Reaching:
Up, down, forward; above 72" for oven controls. - Hand Tasks:
Continuous use of hands; frequent pinching; manipulation of pizza tools. - Equipment Use:
Pencils, pens, computers, phones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
