Staff Accountant

Description

Key Responsibilities:

· Support month-end close including preparation and review of journal entries.

· Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly.

· Assist with financial analysis and reporting variances.

· Oversee reconciliation of company credit card expenses.

· Manage amortization schedules for intangible assets.

· Conduct cash and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.

· Process invoices for capitalized assets and optimize the asset management system.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

· 3+ years of general ledger accounting.

· Strong knowledge of GAAP.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Self-starter able to work independently with minimal direction.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

- Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

- Experience managing credit card transactions and reconciliations.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
