The role sits within the Accounting Automation team and leads transformational initiatives to modernize the tools and applications that support Accounting and Finance operations. It oversees the maintenance and enhancement of the Accounting and Finance application portfolio, including coordination with vendors on product development and release schedules. The position also partners with stakeholders to deliver automated, innovative process improvements and provides mentorship to team members.

• Interacts with leadership to help set direction and prioritize Accounting & Finance technology product initiatives
• Serves as a business liaison between technology and the team members that serve in Accounting & Finance
• Provides status reports according to the information needs of the stakeholders
• Works closely with internal & external audit groups
• Supports Accounting & Finance application administrative tasks such as master data maintenance, user provisioning, interface support and application configurations
• Coordinates Accounting & Finance application testing and implementation adhering to SDLC controls (system deployment life cycle)
• Acts as an Accounting & Finance business point-of-contact for the IT Desktop Support Team and other service desks
• Experience using data analytics to drive new business streamlining opportunities, measure, and track OKRs
• Assists with development of training plans, curriculum and web course review for team development and mentoring
• Supports in the development of training material for Accounting & Finance Business Units as well as development of training plans for upskilling team members

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or other related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years of financial system integration experience
• Experience in Project Management or Consulting
• Experience in data mapping, data translation, data governance

• In-depth understanding of financial and accounting systems and processes
• 2+ years of SAP financials general ledger experience
• SOX or audit experience or familiarity
• Microsoft Power BI or other dashboard query experience
• Experience in low code/no code tools such as workflow automation (Alteryx) or agent build (Copilot)

• SAP Financials Knowledge
• Cognos or other reporting BI tool knowledge
• Communicator with proven skills in consulting with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and external stakeholders
• Great teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proven attention to detail and organization skills
• Experience driving change and improving end to end source to pay process
