JOB OVERVIEWHas extensive knowledge of deposit accounts such as Commercial and Consumer Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD’s, IRA, HSA, Safe Deposit Boxes, and Treasury Management products. Responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, assisting clients with account inquiries, accountmaintenance such as name change, address updates, product changes, and assist in the tellerline as needed. Presents and explains bank products and services to customers and assists inmeeting their financial needs.
Resolves customer requests and questions promptly, courteously,and professionally. Ensures compliance with regulations, bank policies, and safety and securityprocedures. Performs other tasks as required or assigned.
High school education or equivalent is required. Personal Bankerexperience is required, including teller. Expertise should include computer skills including athorough understanding of bank technology systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft software products is necessary. Good organizational and interpersonal skills are all needed. The abilityto balance several ongoing projects simultaneously and customer relationships is required.
Strong oral and written communications skills for communicating and building relationships with internal and external customers is important. Frequently requires problem solving. Willingness totravel to other locations based upon staffing needs is necessary.
Frequent contact with customers both in person and over the phone.
INTERNAL CONTACTSFrequent contact with all Bank personnel.
DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIESDay to day customer services issues.
