* ** What You Will Be Doing*
* Aero Cost Accounting is seeking an experienced and skilled financial analyst to join our team Our team is responsible for Accounting cost closing, allocations, overhead applications, leases, reconciliations, department creation, CAMP testing and expense report review In this role, you will play a key part in the accounting close for cost accounting as you would coordinate across the organization at month end, quarter end and year end to ensure we are closed and meet our deadline
** Key Responsibilities*
* Support month end, quarter end, and year end accounting close activities for the Cost Accounting organization
Coordinate with cross functional teams across the organization to ensure timely and accurate completion of close processes and adherence to reporting deadlines
Perform and support cost accounting activities, including cost closing, allocations, overhead applications, and reconciliations
Support lease accounting processes and ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and procedures
Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain data integrity
Create and maintain departments and related accounting structures within applicable financial systems
Support CAMP testing activities, including validation of system functionality and process improvements
Review expense reports for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies
Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and documentation required to support accounting close activities
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support continuous process improvement initiatives

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,900 $147,085 For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only Lockheed Martin considers factors such as but not limited to scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
