Analyst

Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multiple asset classes and portfolio management principles. They will be responsible for preparing performance and allocation reports, supporting the development of strategic asset allocation strategies, continuously monitoring third-party manager performance and assisting with due diligence on new opportunities. The Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of confidential performance reviews, asset allocation analyses and cash flow projections.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring client-specific strategic asset allocations, ensuring alignment with stated objectives and constraints.
  • Provide analytical support for portfolio rebalancing to maintain target asset allocations.
  • Contribute to the monitoring, evaluation and selection of investment managers through both qualitative assessments and quantitative performance analysis.
  • Support comprehensive due diligence efforts for prospective funds, fund managers and direct investment opportunities.
  • Coordinate with fund managers, third party service providers and internal teams to facilitate accurate and timely execution of investment, estate and tax planning activity.
  • Prepare and maintain customized analysis supporting client specific assets and activities.
  • Maintain secure records of research, manager correspondence and client documentation.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to internal processes that strengthen asset management, investment oversight and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of accounting or investment management experience, preferably with experience in an audit, analytical or portfolio oversight role.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and financial statements.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, third-party managers and ultra high net worth clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
