Job DescriptionThe Credit Services
Business Analyst II position oversees the operation, maintenance and system related procedures for one of the organization’s systems; responsible for making decisions, with organizational impact, regarding the implementation of operational productivity workflow and lending system enhancing projects. The Analyst ensures consistent practices are used throughout the department to maintain the integrity of the systems; works as a business partner to the Lending Division, Compliance, Credit Administration, Audit, Data Security, IS and Finance departments in the establishment and safeguarding of corporate policy, credit policy, system security, regulatory and business requirements relating to the assigned system.
The Business Analyst determines work priorities, scheduling and resource allocations, while providing day-to-day operation support for complex applications/systems. The Analyst’s overarching goal is to achieve improved business performance through the assigned systems. The Credit Services Business Analyst II typically reports to senior management.

How You'll Spend Your Time- You will provide business system support while applying corporate credit policy, regulatory requirements, and product support across banking lines of business.
- You will oversee system workflows by documenting procedures, training personnel, and measuring process performance.
- You will recommend user procedure improvements and system enhancements aligned to business needs and customer satisfaction.
- You will research and resolve system issues by coordinating with vendors, internal IS teams, and external technical support.
- You will advise management on system risks, gaps, required fixes, efficiency opportunities, and cost savings.
- You will mitigate data integrity and fraud risk by overseeing system controls, security access approvals, and reporting.
- You will manage system-related projects by coordinating planning, implementation, training, documentation, and post-project reviews.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or in Management Information Systems or Computer Science and 3-5 years related experience in loan operations administration or loan support role in either information technology or project management; or 5-7 years work related experience, which includes business application support, financial, operations and project understanding.
- Excellent working knowledge of system processing, consumer and commercial loan operation function/processes and excellent understanding of the lending business, Visionary and deployment abilities to best fit business and operational needs with systemic functions.
- Thorough knowledge of bank lending policies, federal and state regulations and reporting including but not limited to: BSA, UDAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, Fair Credit, Truth in Lending, RESPA, CFPB requirements, CRA reporting, OCC reporting and Loan Reserve reporting.
- Knowledge of banking application systems, products; operations and delivery systems and applicable disaster recovery requirements and methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
