Job Overview

Hedge Serv is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Reporting Specialist to oversee hedge fund regulatory filings. The position is hybrid and based in New York, Dallas, TX, or Raleigh, NC. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

• Operational review and preparation of regulatory reporting filings (SEC FormPF, CFTC FormCPO‑PQR, EU AIFMD, OPERA, etc.) and ensuring on‑time submission.
• Liaise with operations teams (Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Investor Services) to resolve issues and complete special projects.
• Research new regulatory requirements, document findings, and educate Hedge Serv client‑service teams on impacts.
• Assist with implementation of regulatory services, including systems integration with third‑party providers.
• Schedule, test, and deploy software related to regulatory compliance offerings.
• Collaborate with operating and technology teams to integrate new workflows into the firm’s technology strategy.
• Manage client communications, alerting clients to regulatory updates or new service offerings and handling service‑change requests.

• Minimum 2years of experience in audit or tax within the alternative investments space at a national accounting firm.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data management, efficiencies, and controls.
• Understanding of financial theory and operations for a variety of cash and derivative instruments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in system testing, documentation, and process flowchart creation.

$80,000–90,000, determined by education, experience, and skill set.
