Position: Sr. Relationship Manager - Global Commercial Banking/Middle Market (Fort Worth/Dallas)

Job Description

This role provides advice and valuable financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects. The primary responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor, acquiring and maintaining profitable relationships, collaborating with teammates, and facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists. The candidate is expected to have in-depth knowledge of the bank’s products and services to identify cross‑selling opportunities and increase overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manages an extensive portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion, helping companies save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs.
  • Acquires, deepens, and maintains profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
  • Understands and interprets financial and cash‑flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
  • Collaborates with domestic and international teammates across Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, Wealth Management, and Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions.
  • Leads and facilitates dialogue with a variety of complex clients and prospects regarding their industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
  • Coaches and mentors peers while utilizing leadership skills.
  • Adapts to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed.

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking.
  • Proven ability to manage an extensive client portfolio.
  • Track record of prospecting new business, enhancing relationships, and closing profitable transactions.
  • Professional sales skills, including planning, execution, and follow‑up of client meetings.
  • Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen.
  • Financial modeling experience and completion of a formal credit training.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Capability to organize, facilitate, lead, and negotiate with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
  • Eligibility for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 licenses (must obtain within 180 days of start date).
