Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
Location:
Fort Worth, TX
We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across the organization. This individual will partner with finance and operational leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and support the company's continued growth.
The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling and analytical skills, experience working with Net Suite ERP, and the ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and management reporting packages.
- Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
- Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and provide financial guidance.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Utilize Net Suite to extract, analyze, and report on financial data.
- Improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Support ad hoc financial analyses, presentations, and executive reporting.
- Assist with month-end close activities and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience using Net Suite ERP is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with financial reporting tools or business intelligence platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
- Experience supporting a multi-site or growing organization.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not required.
- A highly analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to improve processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- A team player who can translate financial data into actionable business insights.
