Strategic Accounts Credit & Collections Analyst | Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid
If you're great at collections because you're great with people, this one's for you. This is white glove work on high-dollar strategic accounts, not volume dialing. You'll spend your days building relationships by phone and Teams, solving problems for major customers, and protecting revenue for a company that's been growing for more than 50 years.
About the opportunityThis large, global electronic components distributor is headquartered in Fort Worth with over 100 locations across North America, Europe, and Asia. The credit and collections team is expanding with the business, and this newly available seat focuses on their most important customers: strategic, contracted accounts where the relationship matters as much as the receivable. You'll partner closely with the strategic account sales team and local branches, and you'll carry real authority, including credit granting up to $300K.
Whatyou'll do
- Own collections for a portfolio of high-dollar strategic accounts, building rapport with customers and resolving issues before they become problems
- Work hand in hand with the strategic account sales team and local branches to keep revenue flowing while managing receivables effectively
- Analyze credit risk for new and existing customers, setting and adjusting limits within your $300K authority and recommending above it
- Conduct credit reviews for strategic accounts, including new account setups with contract-specific requirements
- Troubleshoot account issues by digging into customer data and routing guides, then getting the right fix in place
- Follow up on overdue payments across phone, email, portals, and the internal receivables system, and keep records current and clean
- Escalate the right issues to the right people at the right time
- 3+ years of commercial credit and collections experience, ideally with strategic or global accounts
- A relationship-first approach to collections: strong on the phone, comfortable on camera, persuasive without being pushy
- Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel, including pivot tables and lookups
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- NACM CBA or CBF certification is a plus
- Due to ITAR requirements, candidates must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
Direct hire. Hybrid schedule based in Fort Worth. Strong benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement.
