Analyst​/Senior Analyst, Planning and Analysis

American Airlines seeks an Analyst/Sr Analyst, Planning and Analysis to support financial and operational decision-making in a fast-paced airline environment. You will build and maintain budgets and forecasts, analyze revenue and cost drivers, evaluate route and capacity decisions, and prepare executive-ready reports and dashboards. Partner closely with operations, network planning, and finance to provide insights, track KPIs, and recommend actions that improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts for airline operations and corporate functions.
• Perform variance, trend, and scenario analyses on revenue, costs, and capacity to support decisions.
• Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating key insights and risks.
• Partner with operations, network planning, and finance to evaluate initiatives and track performance KPIs.
• Support long-range planning, profitability analysis, and business cases for strategic projects and investments.
