This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for providing excellent service to members and front-line staff with loan file maintenance adjustments, servicing ancillary products, maintaining credit bureau reporting, resolving and responding to credit bureau disputes, record corrections/clean up, and additional servicing needs.
What you'll do- Answer Department ACD calls
- Process credit disability and life insurance claims
- Processcollateral protection insurance
- ProcessGAP Claims
- Provide follow up documentation or information requested for insurance claims
- Process modifications and corrections for consumer loans
- Facilitatecredit insurance premium processing, including reviews of exception reports
- Perform Credit Bureau file maintenance
- Research and resolve errors for consumer loans
- Research and resolve member credit bureau disputes and ensure responses comply with regulatory requirements
- Process loan adjustments and corrections
- Test servicing systems functionality
- Assist with other Servicing department duties
- The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
Preferred Qualifications
- Education & Prior Job Experience
- One or more years of Credit Union or financial institution experience
- Previous customer service experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use
- Ability to exhibit excellent member service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and interact professionally with all employees and members
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels, both verbally and written
- Ability to recognize and suggest opportunities for improvement
- Ability to speak, read and write Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data
- Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
- Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
