Description
The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, providing unparalleled flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. This multi-role fighter combines air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, electronic attack, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance into a single platform. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead one or more Special Access Programs (SAPs) and manage classified subcontracts.
Position OverviewAs the lead for Special Access Programs, you will play a critical role in the success and security of the F-35 program by managing classified subcontract activities and ensuring compliance with government and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage one or more SAPs, ensuring alignment with program goals and security requirements.
- Oversee subcontract security management and develop processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Facility Operating Procedures (FOPs).
- Act as a liaison between government security customers, Supply Chain, and Program Management to facilitate communication and compliance.
- Process DD-254 Security Classification Specifications and manage security requirements for the F-35 classified supplier base under the direction of the Security Manager.
- Ensure adherence to DoD Directive 5205.07 Manual and SAR regulations, including international requirements, policies, procedures, and company standards.
- Experience in Special Access Programs:
Demonstrated experience working on large SAP platforms. - Classified Programs Expertise:
Experience managing classified programs involving Foreign Nationals and handling contractual issues related to SAP administration. - Knowledge of Regulations:
Thorough understanding of DoD Special Access Required (SAR) regulations, international requirements, and program-specific procedures. - Process Development:
Proven ability to develop and implement effective processes for subcontract security management.
- Current Final Secret clearance investigation within 5 years from investigation closed date.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
- Knowledge of the DoDM 5205.07 and DoD 32 CFR Part 117.
- CSSO or ACSSO experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Subcontract Management experience to include drafting and revising DD-254s.
- Be self-driven and results oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape.
- Be highly organized and have advanced oral and written communication skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
