This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Aviation Division. This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as the Senior Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) (FAC-COR III) focusing on high priority and/or high value contracts as assigned. The COR-III will also support Program CORs to administer a variety of contracts that support Aviation Division Programs.

Basic Qualification Requirements:Applicants applying for the GS-12 must meet one of the following requirements:
A. Have at least one full year of qualifying specialized experience that is at least equivalent in difficulty and complexity to work performed at the GS-11 grade level.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
- Prepare progress reports, and update plans and schedules of multiple contractor projects;
- Assist in the planning and preparation for meetings;
- Maintain adequate electronic Contracting Officer Representative files;
- Prepare statements of satisfactory performance or deviations, shortages or deficiencies;
- Assist in the compilation and drafting of a wide range of program-related materials
Applicants applying for the GS-13 must meet one of the following requirements:
A. Have at least one full year of qualifying specialized experience that is at least equivalent in difficulty and complexity to work performed at the GS-12 grade level.

- Review and prepare progress reports, and update plans and schedules of multiple contractor projects;
- Analyze program needs, define and document the program's contractual scope, schedule, site-specific considerations, work requirements, milestones, and activities developing the statement of work;
- establish and maintain adequate electronic Contraction Officer Representative files;
- Identify and recommend solutions or corrective action to resolve any problems that interfere with contract progress and with the completion of the project;
- Submit, track, and monitor procurement actions involving contracts
