Overview
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work in the Kinesiology department and will be responsible for leading data collection and analysis in conjunction with an NIH-funded project investigating perspectives related to advances in prosthetics technology. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal for a second year given satisfactory progress.
Responsibilities- Collects, schedules, manages, and analyzes participant data.
- Contributes to the preparation and submission of abstracts, professional presentations, manuscripts, grant proposals, and reports. Disseminates findings for both scholarly and practitioner audiences.
- Collaborates with other team members on all aspects of this research.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- PhD in rehabilitation sciences, psychology, kinesiology, healthcare, or related field
- Experience leading research projects
- Experience with qualitative methodology and survey methodology
- Experience leading research studies that center people with limb loss and limb difference

- Skill in outstanding verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to learn additional approaches to data collection and analyses (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods)
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills including the accurate estimate of timelines and adherence to deadlines
- Ability to use strong communication and writing skills
