Physical Therapy department
Work hours :
Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, rotate weekends and some holidays.
Supporting the 815-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital that has served the Ft. Worth and surrounding community since 1930

Brian tumor program certified with gold seal of approval
Spine surgery certified
Primary heart attack center
Geriatric hip fracture program
Neurotrauma program certified
Bachelor's degree completion of a Physical Therapist program required.
No experience needed - New grads are welcome!
PT - Physical Therapist Texas - Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Problem-solving ability, Ability to teach others and Time management skills.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills
Geriatric Clinical Specialists (ABPTS)
Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (ABPTS)
Wound Management Clinical Specialist (ABPTS)
Certified lymphedema therapists
Certified hand therapists
Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
Performs treatment procedures/techniques that are within the scope of the professional license.
Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
Initiates therapy discharge planning in collaboration with care team and patient based on prognosis and expected discharge disposition.
Attends and/or leads hospital, department, and community meetings / educational in-services.
Strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
