Thanks for checking out our Licensed Physical Therapist job post. We are an award winning, one‑on‑one, manual therapy‑based physical therapy clinic located in Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking for someone who is interested in treating patients one on one as a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. Our manual therapy‑based clinic prides itself on great patient outcomes and compassion for the patients we treat.
Our patients and employees are fostered by a family environment. Going out of our way to offer great customer service is our pride and joy. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, professional, and works well with others. Being able to treat patients one on one for a complete hour allows you to practice manual therapy and customer service skills which are of great importance to us.
- Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating, and studying therapy histories
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
- Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual therapy and exercises
- Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; promoting wellness and health maintenance
- Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends; monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives
- Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations; anticipating emerging issues
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Driving/Workshop Presentations/Marketing (occasionally) as needed
- Enhances physical therapy and clinics' reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
