Direct Care - Clinical Therapist/Social Work/Case Worker
Come change lives with MHMR’s Substance Use Disorder treatment services. As a SUD counselor, you can earn a competitive wage while making a difference in the lives of our patients who struggle with drugs and alcohol. You will assess potential patients for services; develop collaborative treatment plans that address the whole person; utilize your counseling skills to provide group and individual counseling sessions;
use evidenced based curriculum to provide psychoeducation; and work with cross-disciplinary teams to treat individuals in a holistic manner. Positions in residential and outpatient settings are available.
Associate degree with a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern License; no minimum experience required! MHMR is a certified training institute in the state of Texas, so you can earn your intern hours toward full licensure while working with us, as well as receive free supervision. Master’s level (LPC-A and LMSW) clinicians can also earn hours and receive free supervision from the agency, provided they obtain their LCDC intern license.
Spanish-speaking a plus.
