Direct Care - Clinical Therapist/Social Work/Case Worker

Role
:
Net RAPP Clinical Specialist working as part of an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to provide, dual psychosocial support, supported employment services, crisis resolution, and housing services to adults with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders (COPSD) who are on parole/probation and need intensive rehabilitative and casework mental health services.

The Clinical Specialist provides assessment, recovery planning, and ongoing treatment to assist individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to gain the skills, resources, and supports necessary to attain their individualized recovery goals. Services may be provided in the clinic or in the community, which may require travel (often in the CS’s own vehicle) across Tarrant County in various environments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, recovery planning, and ongoing treatment for adults with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  • Deliver dual psychosocial support, crisis resolution, housing services, and supported employment services as part of an IDT.
  • Coordinate and advocate with internal and external departments to support client goals and ensure least restrictive, clinically beneficial treatment dispositions.
  • Engage in community-based service delivery, including travel to community settings.
  • Collaborate with team members to review cases and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education
    :
    Bachelor’s Degree in a Health or Human Services Field.
  • Defined Education
    :
    Social, Behavioral or human services fields include Psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, deontology.
  • Substitutions
    :
    May substitute a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 30 hours of behavioral health coursework documented on transcripts.
  • Years’ Experience
    : 1 year. May substitute Supervisory/Customer Service experience to fulfill requirement.
  • Defined Experience
    : 1-year experience in a Health or Human Services Field.
  • License/Certifications
    :
    Valid Texas Driver’s License;
    Proof of Liability Insurance Coverage;
    Successful completion of required organizational training;
    Qualified Mental Health Professional-Community Specialist (QMHP-CS).
