Join Our Team as a QIPP QM Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically knowledgeable QIPP QM Specialist to provide oversight, education, and strategic support to ensure achievement of all QIPP Quality Measure (QM) metrics tied to QIPP funding. This role focuses on tracking, trending, auditing, and proactively managing QM triggers to improve quality outcomes and prevent negative performance impacts.

The QIPP QM Specialist serves as a key resource to the MDS department and facility leadership, helping drive compliance, revenue protection, and quality improvement initiatives.

Your Impact as a QIPP QM Specialist
  • Track, trend, monitor, and manage QIPP Quality Measures (QMs) across assigned divisions
  • Provide weekly or biweekly QIPP QM updates for QIPP meetings
  • Audit MDS assessments that have triggered Quality Measures and develop corrective action plans
  • Establish plans for QM trigger removal prior to the end of each QIPP quarter
  • Monitor compliance with QIPP QM Revenue Meetings and QIPP QM Worksheets
  • Identify trends and implement strategies to prevent negative quality outcomes
  • Create and distribute audit and compliance reports to required staff
  • Develop training materials and provide education to facilities via TEAMS
  • Present quarterly TEAMS reviews and monthly training sessions for new MDS Coordinators and DONs
  • Monitor and manage QM Hotline support
  • Communicate regularly with facility leadership, Regional teams, and the Director of QIPP to provide ongoing support
  • Support performance improvement initiatives aligned with QIPP funding goals
Position Overview
  • Divided by Division (East, West, or South)
  • Required to work from the Corporate Fort Worth Office
  • Reports directly to the Director of QIPP
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Active Nursing License in the state of Texas (Required)
  • Previous MDS experience (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the QIPP Program
  • Strong knowledge of CMS Quality Measures, including triggers and removal strategies
  • Previous leadership experience in long-term care (Preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and trend data effectively
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify complex issues and implement proactive solutions
