Overview

For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. Indirect - Administrative/Clerical/Customer Service

• This Mental Health Specialist delivers comprehensive services to clients in the community, aiding in addiction or mental health recovery.
• Assist the Program Manager, ensuring organized documentation and providing administrative support.
• Act as the initial point of contact for clients, creating a welcoming environment, offering information, supplies, and travel assistance.
• Contribute significantly to the team’s functioning. Flexible days and hours may be required to meet community needs, with on-call responsibilities shared among the team.

• High School Diploma/GED

• Valid Texas Driver’s License
