Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid Texas SLP License
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals
  • Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for therapy service termination
  • Conduct independent evaluations to assess eligibility for services
  • Participate in IEP meetings for appropriate placement and goal setting
  • Collaborate with teachers to enhance communication skills through classroom activities
  • Offer professional development to school personnel on identifying and understanding communication deficits
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents about therapy goals
  • Create a conducive learning environment suitable for student maturity levels
  • Coordinate ongoing evaluation of speech‑language pathology services and implement changes as needed
  • Assist in the selection of equipment and instructional materials
  • Compile, maintain, and file all necessary reports and records
