Overview

Are you an adaptable caregiving professional who thrives on variety? Comfort Keepers is seeking a Floater/Standby Caregiver to support our clients across the region. This is a premium "guaranteed hours" role designed for our most reliable team members. You get the stability of a 30-hour paycheck every week—even if you aren't assigned a shift.

You must remain available and ready to respond during your scheduled hours. In exchange, we provide a steady paycheck, paid training, and a supportive team that has your back 24/7.

• Income Security: Guaranteed 30 hours of pay per week, period.
• Competitive Pay: $15.50–$17.00/hr (paid for standby time and active shifts).
• Earn More: Any hours worked over your 30-hour guarantee are paid at your hourly rate, plus applicable overtime.

• Stay available and ready to accept client assignments during guaranteed hours
• Render compassionate, high-quality care and assistance with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping)
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to company policies
• Communicate clearly with the office about schedule, availability, and any client updates
• Adapt to working with different clients and adjusting to changing needs

• Experience: 1+ year professional caregiving (Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience preferred).
• Mobility: Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle (must be willing to travel up to 20 miles).
• Versatility: Ability to assist with transfers, hygiene, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
• Pet Friendly: Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs.
