SummaryThe Outpatient Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic ENT and rehabilitative audiology services to pediatric patients with hearing disorders, age birth to 21. The role emphasizes family‑centered care, long‑term management of hearing loss, and interdisciplinary coordination with ENT and speech‑language pathology teams.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic audiology examinations and provide rehabilitative services to children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with ENT, speech‑language pathology, and school personnel to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Recommend and facilitate hearing aid fitting, assistive listening devices, and counseling to improve functional hearing and support learning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to interdisciplinary care discussions.
- Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or Ph.D. in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure for Audiology.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
