Job Summary
The Research Support Assistant will provide project support by facilitating project goals and objectives for Knight Research (Institute of Behavioral Research). This job is 10-20 hrs/week, temporary position, and requires the successful applicant to reside in or near one of the geographic areas where research activities are being conducted in Chillicothe, MO or Vandalia, MO.
Duties & Essential Job Functions- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 plus year of experience with customers, patients, or clients.

- Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain strong organizational systems to manage multiple tasks and data requirements with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, respond appropriately to sensitive situations to encourage participant engagement and trust.
- Ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and professionally to diverse audiences. Capacity to listen actively and adapt communication style to the needs of individuals.
- Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
- Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
- Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
- Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, lifting/moving items up to 10 lbs. and times of prolonged sitting.
- Work is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
- There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
- The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
